Tuyet-Lyn Arias, MA, MFT (MFC 52494), is an Associate Staff Member at the Center for Creative Growth. She earned this promotion because of her advanced skills, her gifted use of intuition, and her dedication to assisting people to reach their goals. Prior to joining our Center, Tuyet-Lyn provided individual and group therapy for women recovering from alcohol and drug abuse. Her background also includes facilitating expressive arts therapy groups for incarcerated women and men. Tuyet-Lyn integrates verbal and non-verbal forms of therapy, such as drawing, painting, drama, music, sandtray, and somatic work into her therapy. At our Center, she leads a women's therapy group that incorporates the arts. Tuyet-Lyn is interested in working with the full range of issues people bring to therapy, as well as specifically with self-esteem and self-acceptance, creative blocks, trauma, and addiction (alcohol, sex, spending, work, and others). She brings warmth, depth, creativity, and clarity to her work with individuals, couples, families, teens, and children, and to the women's group she leads.

What Tuyet-Lyn Says About Being A Therapist

“I believe therapy is a creative process in which healing and growth occur as we uncover our inner strength and our inner truths. This allows us to change our lives, expand our ability to play, and truly enjoy life. I believe my role as a therapist is to provide a supportive environment where people can discover their authentic self and free themselves to create the life they want.”
